Pennsylvania Residents Urged to Test Homes for Radon
 
Harrisburg, PA - The Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) today urged all Pennsylvanians to test their homes for radon, a deadly radioactive gas that's the leading cause of lung cancer in non- smokers in the United States. DEP also urged residents to take action to reduce radon levels in their homes if they are high.

$3.3 Billion in Payments to Schools, Counties and Human Service Organizations Will Be Available Beginning Tomorrow
 
Harrisburg -The Pennsylvania Treasury today announced it has completed sending out all of the 16,400 expedited payments totaling nearly $3.3 billion and that school districts, counties and human service organizations could begin to receive their delayed state payments as soon as tomorrow.

Governor Wolf Announces Pennsylvania's Medicaid Expansion Population Has Exceeded 500,000
 
Harrisburg, PA - Governor Tom Wolf today announced that more than half a million Pennsylvanians have enrolled in HealthChoices since Pennsylvania expanded its Medicaid program.
