PA Treasurer McCord Announces Expansion of Money-Saving, Job-Creating Energy-Efficiency Loan Program
 
Pennsylvania homeowners considering geothermal heat pump systems can now take advantage of a new and innovative financing package through the Commonwealth's energy efficiency loan program, the Keystone Home Energy Loan Program (HELP), which combines a low-interest HELP loan with a companion loan given in anticipation of federal tax credits available for the installation of these fuel-conserving systems.

Gov Rendell Announces Sept Revenue Figures; Mourns PennDOT Employee Killed in Work Zone
 
The Governor expressed condolences to the family of a PennDOT worker who was killed today. The individual is the 82nd PennDOT worker to be killed in the line of duty.; Pennsylvania collected $2.3 billion in General Fund revenue in September, which was $69.8 million more than anticipated. Fiscal year-to-date General Fund collections total $5.8 billion, which is $75.8 million above estimate.
