Gov. Corbett Unveils Portrait of Hannah Callowhill Penn to be Placed in the Governor's Office
 
Harrisburg - Governor Tom Corbett, along with First Lady Susan Corbett today unveiled a portrait of Hannah Callowhill Penn that will be placed in the Governor's Office. This is the first time a portrait of a woman will be displayed among the portraits of Pennsylvania's founders and former governors.

Governor Corbett Officially Kicks Off 2014 Pocono Raceway Season; Announces $5 million in Transportation Infrastructure Funds to Improve Traffic Flow at Raceway Total economic impact on regional income is projected to be $277 million in 2014.
 
Harrisburg - Governor Corbett today joined Pocono Raceway CEO Brandon Igdalsky, NASCAR and INDYCAR officials and state legislators to officially kick off the 2014 Pocono Raceway Season and to announce the award of $5 million in Transportation Infrastructure Funds to widen roadways and improve traffic flow to and from the raceway.

Harrisburg, PA - Governor Corbett today unveiled Big Interview, the latest enhancement to Pennsylvania's job-matching website, JobGateway. Big Interview, a mock interview tool to help job seekers prepare for the workforce, was introduced at Harrisburg Area Community College with Labor and Industry Secretary Julia Hearthway, HACC President John "Ski" Sygielski, State Workforce Investment Board (WIB) chairman Dave Malone, WIB members and HACC faculty and students.

Governor Corbett Announces New Veterans Designation on Driver Licenses and Identification Cards
 
Harrisburg - Surrounded by veterans and members of the Pennsylvania National Guard, Governor Tom Corbett today kicked off the new Veteran's Designation for Pennsylvania driver's licenses and identification cards. The designation, an American flag with the word "Veteran" beneath it, will appear on the front of the license or identification card.

Pa. Turnpike Chief Assures Thorough Inquiry into Multi-Vehicle Incident
 
Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission Chief Executive Officer Mark Compton announced that the commission has begun a thorough review of the causes of and response to a series of traffic incidents that occurred Feb. 14 on the Turnpike (Interstate 276) about seven miles east of the Willow Grove Interchange (Exit 343) in Lower Southampton Township, Bucks County.
