Governor Tom Corbett today held a news conference, to provide an update on road closures and bridge damage as a result of a fiery truck crash this morning. The crash occurred on the ramp from northbound Interstate 81 to westbound Route 22/322 near Harrisburg.

Corbett Supports Landmark Legislation for Pension Reform
 
Harrisburg -Governor Tom Corbett today joined Senator Mike Brubaker (R-Lancaster) and Representative Chris Ross (R-Chester) as they introduced a comprehensive pension reform plan that stems skyrocketing pension costs and provides significant taxpayer and budgetary relief for Pennsylvanians, now and well into the future. The legislation mirrors the governor's proposal introduced during his February budget address.

Governor Corbett Visits Flight 93 Memorial, Donates Trees to Honor Fallen Heroes
 
Shanksville, Somerset County - Governor Tom Corbett today visited the Flight 93 National Memorial in Somerset County to honor the sacrifice of the passengers and crew by presenting donated trees for the site. This is the second year of a major volunteer reforestation effort at the memorial that will eventually result in 150,000 new trees at the site.
