Pennsylvania Secretary of Health Dr. Debra Bogen, and Pennsylvania Insurance Commissioner Michael Humphreys will visit See-Right Pharmacy in Harrisburg to discuss and illustrate the availability of the updated COVID-19 vaccine for respiratory virus season. During the event, Secretary Bogen and Commissioner Humphreys will receive a COVID-19 vaccine.The Shapiro Administration has taken recent action to ensure that Pennsylvanians have clear, concise, and evidence-based information regarding vaccines. Earlier this month, Governor Josh Shapiro signed an executive order safeguarding Pennsylvanians' access to vaccines. Prior to that signing, the Department of Health released new vaccine guidance to provide health care professionals and residents with information they need to make informed health care decisions.The COVID-19 vaccine has been updated to protect against severe illness from new virus variants this respiratory season.
