ADVISORY - MONROE COUNTY - Lt. Gov. Austin Davis to Highlight Investments in Community Safety

Lt. Gov. Austin Davis will visit Monroe County on Monday, Nov. 24, to highlight how the 2025-26 budget that Gov. Josh Shapiro signed into law this month continues to invest in making our communities safer.

The newly enacted state budget:

Increases funding for the successful Violence Intervention and Prevention program by 10 percent;

Provides funding for four additional Pennsylvania State Police cadet classes.
