ADVISORY - SOMERSET COUNTY - Shapiro Administration to Highlight Investments in Disaster Response & Recovery to Help Pennsylvania Communities

Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency (PEMA) Director Randy Padfield will join county and local leaders to discuss the Shapiro Administration's continued investments to support Pennsylvania communities in disaster response and recovery.

The 2025-26 budget provides additional funding for state agency response to disasters while continuing funding for the Disaster Recovery Assistance Program (DRAP), which provided more than $153,000 in grants to Somerset County residents after extreme flooding in May 2025.
