ADVISORY - CLEARFIELD COUNTY - Shapiro Administration, Safety Partners to Drive Attention to New Technology Making Winter Travel Safer

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT), Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PA Turnpike), Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency (PEMA), Pennsylvania State Police (PSP), and the National Weather Service (NWS) will come together tomorrow at PennDOT's District 2 Regional Traffic Management Center (RTMC) to remind drivers of the threat snow squalls can pose during the winter months and announce the availability of a snow squall driving simulation to help drivers learn what to do if driving during a snow squall.

After the podium event, media will be able to tour the RTMC. Media will also be invited to experience the snow squall driving simulation.
