Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) Secretary Rick Siger and Department of Agriculture Secretary Russell Redding will announce the Commonwealth's investment in Schreiber Foods to create jobs and grow Pennsylvania's manufacturing and agriculture sectors.From day one, Governor Josh Shapiro and his Administration have worked to spur economic development in Pennsylvania - securing over $40.4 billion in private sector investments and creating more than 22,400 jobs.Pennsylvania has the only growing economy in the Northeast and Governor Shapiro's 2026-27 proposed budget builds on three years of historic progress to maintain the Commonwealth's status as an economic leader.
