ADVISORY - Shapiro Administration to Make Major Economic Development Announcement

Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) Secretary Rick Siger will announce the Commonwealth's investment in Mondi Bags USA to create new jobs, grow Pennsylvania's manufacturing sector, and spur the economy in Allegheny County.

This new investment underscores the commitment by the Shapiro Administration to drive economic growth, invest in our businesses and communities, and create real opportunity for Pennsylvanians. The Commonwealth has the only growing economy in the Northeast and Governor Josh Shapiro's 2026-27 proposed budget builds on three years of historic progress to maintain Pennsylvania's status as an economic leader.
