ADVISORY - TUESDAY IN BERKS COUNTY - Governor Shapiro to Visit West Reading Small Businesses, Announce Millions in Main Street Matters Investments

Governor Josh Shapiro will join DCED Secretary Rick Siger and local community leaders to visit small businesses in West Reading and announce millions in Main Street Matters investments across the Commonwealth.

Since taking office, Governor Shapiro has secured $60 million for the Main Street Matters program, fulfilling a key campaign promise to help revitalize downtowns, support small businesses, and strengthen local economies. The Governor's 2026-27 proposed budget sustains $20 million in funding for the MSM program after its success supporting small businesses and commercial corridors as the backbone of communities across the Commonwealth.
