Agriculture Secretary Russell Redding was joined by Department of Health Physician General Dr. Denise Johnson and Mayor of Harrisburg Eric Papenfuse at the Farm Show Complex & Expo Center to highlight an upcoming vaccine clinic being hosted there during the Keystone International Livestock Exposition."The Farm Show Complex has been supporting the commonwealth and the greater Harrisburg community for more than a century. Hosting events that support jobs and economic revenue, and community trainings," said Redding. "Our mission is to support the agriculture industry and our community, this free clinic is an effort to ensure that those who are local to the complex have the opportunity to access the vaccine, a necessary tool in our fight against COVID-19."The clinic at the Farm Show Complex, being held from 10 AM to 4 PM on October 7 and 8, takes place during one of the most recognized livestock shows in the country, the Keystone International Livestock Exposition (KILE). The clinic at the complex offers a convenient opportunity for residents of Harrisburg and the surrounding areas to take advantage of freely available vaccines to protect against COVID-19.
