Acting Secretary of State Urges Voters to Immediately Drop Off Their Mail Ballot

Acting Secretary of State Leigh M. Chapman today told voters who have already returned their mail ballot and are concerned they might have made a technical error that they should contact their county election office immediately to discuss their options to fix any identified issues.

Also, she urged those who have not yet returned their mail ballot to hand-deliver it immediately to their county election office or other officially designated location, such as a drop box. All official drop-off locations can be found at vote.pa.gov. The deadline to return their mail ballot is 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8.

Finally, those who plan to vote in-person tomorrow should visit vote.pa.gov to verify their polling place. Polls are open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., and voters are reminded that if they are in line by 8 p.m., they should stay in line because they will be able to cast their ballot.
