Shapiro Administration HighlightsResources During Child Abuse Prevention Month, Lights Capitol Blue to Raise Awareness

The Shapiro Administration marked the beginning of Child Abuse Prevention Month Monday in the Capitol Rotunda by the role state partners can play in supporting children and families.

State Child Advocate Maryann McEvoy was joined by Acting Secretary of Human Services Dr. Val Arkoosh, Acting Secretary of Health Dr. Debra Bogen along with legislators and advocates. In addition to the recognition event, the Capitol Building has been lit blue in recognition of the month and all children affected by child abuse and neglect.
