Amazon and Governor Josh Shapiro celebrated the opening of a brand new 1.2 million square foot fulfillment center in York. This new fulfillment center joins nearly 40 other Amazon operations facilities across the Commonwealth. Since 2010, Amazon has invested more than $21.6 billion in Pennsylvania, including infrastructure and compensation to employees, and has created more than 25,000 direct jobs here. Amazon has opened over 50 new fulfillment centers, delivery stations, and same-day delivery sites in the U.S. this year.
