Attorney General Sunday Announces Takedown of Carbon County-Based Drug Trafficking Ring

Attorney General Dave Sunday, along with Carbon County law enforcement leaders, announced seven arrests and the seizure of several pounds of methamphetamine, fentanyl/heroin, and marijuana.

Cruz "June" Rodriguez - the leader of the organization - is charged, along with Elijah Marie Camacho, Justin Paul Heacock, Christopher Hazlett, Kayla Marie Evert, and Jose Nieves-Feliciano.

The investigation revealed Rodriguez was a ruthless leader, who kept co-conspirators under his rule by threats and brandishing a firearm.
